Astonfield Renewables had a technical partnership with Solesa, an Italian engineering leader in commercial and industrial solar solutions. With offices in Italy, India, the Middle East and United States, Solesa’s experience includes 150 MW of developed projects, 30 MW of EPC contracts, and 30 MW of projects under O&M. Astonfield and Solesa have collaborated on three projects to date.
Grupo T-Solar has partnered with Astonfield on key projects in the first phase of Astonfield’s portfolio rollout, contributing technology, expertise and capital. The Spanish solar power producer has invested €1.16 billion in developing its own solar projects globally, and installed over 173MW of solar generation capacity across Europe, Latin America and the United States. T-Solar joined as a equity partner in Astonfield’s 5MW project at Osiyan, Rajasthan and 11.5MW project in Nayaka, Gujarat. T-Solar also provided its internally manufactured solar modules to the Rajasthan project, which are now generating an estimated 8,500 megawatt-hours per year, enough electricity to power over 13,000 Indian homes.
