Astonfield’s 5MW solar PV plant in Osiyan, Rajasthan is one of the first sanctioned under the Jawaharlal Nehru National Solar Mission and the first to be commissioned in Astonfield’s growing solar portfolio. Located in the Jodhpur district of Rajasthan, Astonfield’s Osiyan project sits on nearly 40 acres of land. A total of 185 acres has been secured under a long term lease to support a phased build out of an additional 20MW.
Astonfield tied-up with leading global partners to deliver the highest quality components and services for this project. Spain’s T-Solar, among the largest solar developers in the world, provided project equity capital as well as thin-film PV modules for the project. France’s Schneider Electric performed EPC services for the project.

T-Solar is Astonfield’s strategic equity partner in its Osiyan project and provided the thin-film modules for the plant. T-Solar is the world’s largest solar independent power producer with over 180MW of solar power plants under active operation.
Schneider Electric performed the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for the Osiyan project. With over 100,000 employees globally, Schneider is one of the world’s largest energy management companies.
